ACCOMMODATION:

Standard Room:
Offer 16 – 20 square metres of living space, feature Edwardian style décor and face the rear gardens of the courtyard. The en suite bathroom has a shower only.

Stanley’s Terrace: Not only renowned for a tantalising High Tea, Stanley’s Terrace is also a magnificent setting, with views of the Victoria Falls Bridge, for light meals served throughout the day.

Jungle Junction:
Offers lavish buffets for breakfast and dinner as well as evening entertainment from various ethnic groups, all complemented by views over the gorge. 

The Livingstone Room:
The elegant Edwardian-style Livingstone Room, features both à la carte and table d’hôte dinner menus. This awarded restaurant reflects the grandeur and opulence of a bygone era yet the dress code has been relaxed to smart-casual with a minimum required of sleeved collared shirt and closed shoes for men. No shorts, sneakers, jeans or sandals are permitted.

Poolside:
The open –air poolside bar serves a full range of beverages, light meals and snacks as well as a lunchtime barbeque.

Stanley’s Bar:
With a maximum capacity of only 12 guests, Stanley’s Bar is a snug retreat to enjoy a signature cocktail, a G&T or even the hotel’s homemade non-alcoholic lemonade.

SPA
The boutique beauty Spa offers two massage beds within the spa itself and one at the poolside and offers a range of treatments from Swedish body massages to body scrubs, facials, pedicures and manicures.

What do I need to bring

  • As a guide, the maximum weight for checked luggage is 20kg in economy class and 30kg in business class
  • Your hand-luggage should not weigh more than 6kg and needs to be small and compact
  • Casual, comfortable clothing is suitable throughout the year
  • Jeans or trousers for evenings and cooler days is recommended * In more upmarket hotels and restaurants, elegant casual outfits are recommended for dinner
  • Sunglasses, suntan lotion and insect repellent are a must
  • Please note that camouflage clothing is banned in Zimbabwe
  • Throw in a few warmer items between April and August, especially for early mornings and late evenings
  • Don’t forget any medication that you might need, and be sure to pack it in your hand luggage
  • Chargers for all your devices (it’s a good idea to take along a few movies on a tablet or something similar as the English TV channels in your hotel may be limited)
